This EWC freestanding unit is designed to primarily assist in gait training. Using a special harness, this lift will support a person’s weight or a portion of their weight so they can either gait train or perform physical therapy.
This unit can also be designed to fit over a hot tub to accomodate hydro-therapy. The motion of the SafeStep Gaittrainer is forward and backward. Lateral motion is supported, but restricted.
